Mālō e lelei! Fēfē hake? Ko hoku hingoa ko Sista Puaka Matuá!
Tongan anyone?? Hahaha one of the Elders in my zone served a good chunk of his mission in Tonga and he was teaching us some stuff.
But anyway! Holy cow it has been an exciting week! So let’s start at the very beginning!
Well Tuesday we picked up my new BABYYYYYY! She is from Boise, Idaho and she is seriously the most perfect baby I could’ve asked for. Also FYI, out here we call brand new missionaries “baby” because it’s like their trainer is their mom or dad. It’s a pretty common thing and don’t worry I checked with her, she doesnt mind it😉 But we picked her up and got her some bedding and let her unpack a bit. Later that night, one of the elders asked us to prank his son (new trainee) So the three of us went to there apartment and pretended to be angry neighbors complaining about noise hahaha it was really funny.
Wednesday the only real fun thing that happened was painting at service. We have done a lot of painting this week… But it’s been fun!
I officially hit my halfway mark on Thursday! To celebrate, the zone got together and played get to know you games and another missionary baked a cake for everyone hahaha. There were 5 of us with the same mission birthday so we had 5 candles and we each blew one out. It was super fun! Halfway there!!
General Conference was amazing of course and there was so many messages shared I think the world really needed to hear. One that stuck out to me was the importance and urgency of being prepared. Times and things are changing and we don’t know what’s going to be coming. However, we have been given direction to know how we can prepare for whatever may be on its way! I can’t express enough the gratitude I have for having a living Prophet on the earth today. I know that if we listen to his voice and follow his direction, we will be okay! I know God loves us because He has given us a prophet!
Sorry this week’s email is a little short, but I hope yall are good and I love you each very very much!
